The staff in the day surgery unit were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay however I had to wait 3 and a half hours for my operation with little communication. The care during my stay was excellent however I was there for less than an hour after my operation and have not received any aftercare or support since my operation. The information I received before my operation was quite vague and did not explain what would happen during my recovery.
