"poor treatment"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

what I thought would be a amazing time turned into the worst day of my life. I am pregnant now 11 weeks but when I come to have a scan wait time was 5 mins which is a good thing and had my bloods down the went in for my scan. I have never had treatment like this before. It is my second pregnancy so I knew abit about what to expect but when you are laying there and they can't find you baby and then to be ask if I am sure if I am pregnant and then be told oh there it is but I think it's dead. We then wait outside to room to be told we have to go over to the early pregnancy unit and to be told some very upsetting and sickness stuff about what is going to happen. I was left a week with what we was told a dead baby turn out to be a lovely health baby at 9 weeks 5days. Now I received a new scam date I am now so scared.

We are so saddened to hear of the experience you had with us at Medway. We strive to ensure that everyone who visits our service receives the highest standard of care possible. We understand that every scan carries its own anxieties and therefore, are very concerned to hear what happened during your visit. We will address your concerns and ask that when you arrive for your next scan, you ask to speak to the lead midwife for fetal medicine who will talk things through with you in more detail.
