Admittedly it took a long time to get through to the hospital in the first place, but once I through the person on the other end was very helpful, liasied with my GP about a query for me and I was able to get an appointment to see a consultant the next day. I was seen on time and the consultant was professional and efficient and appeared to take me seriosuly. He answered any questions I had. I feel the doctor I saw had the right mixture of efficiency and patience with me and I really appreciated being taken seriously. (The hospital itself is a bit weird granted. It's a very old fashioned waiting room and I was seen on a ward with a curtain pulled round the cubicle instead of in a consulting room or anything but it was ok, there was no lack of privacy or anything).
