Always grateful to the over stretched NHS service but even more so when you have a child in pain - daughter broke her wrist which initially couldn't be seen on an x-ray but the doctor gave her a splint anyway to be sure. That was a good decision because the hospital rang a couple of days later to say that she needed to come back as a break had been found. I have just moved here and I have to say that my previous hospital would no doubt have sent me off with some calpol had they not been able to see a break straight away on the x ray, I am grateful that this hospital erred on the side of caution and now her wrist is all sorted. Many thanks!
