"I had very high blood pressure"

I had my blood pressure taken at the local doctors by a practise nurse. She found it to be very high so I had an ECG and the doctor gave me a letter to go straight to Barnsley Hospital which I did. I was assessed on arrival and had blood taken. I was then moved onto a ward within one and a half hours. There I was put on a monitor for the next four days and nights. I also had a treadmill test and then I was allowed to go home. Further appointments were explained to me. Everybody was caring and nice.
