"Gall bladder removed "

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

Having been told I had “indigestion” by three NHS doctors, I was finally admitted to casualty where after six hours I was diagnosed with sever gallstones and transferred at 5am to the Hallamshire Hospital. I was told I would have the gall bladder removed the following day. But three days later I had starved again over night only to be told at 2pm it was cancelled again. I was so upset and in sever pain and I had only had a baby 8 weeks earlier so I was separated from her. After four days the operation tool place and was fine but I had no further check ups so I can only hope it is all ok. I am amazed that they can remove an organ and not see you after! The room was not clean and when I was admitted there was half a chicken sandwich left in the cupboard. Just glad it’s over!
