"It was such a brilliant service"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Respiratory Medicine

(as the patient),

Last Wednesday I was very breathless as my nebulizer had broken and the breathlessness was also making me very weary. They checked my nebulizer and assessed my condition at the hospital and decided I could do with oxygen to help me as I had had pneumonia and fluid on my lungs. The oxygen was delivered to my house the following day – it was such a brilliant service.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Seeded969,

Not only would this have been tiring but it must also have been scary, making it all the more important to get it sorted so quickly and efficiently. I am so glad that was your experience. I will be delighted to pass this on and I hope you are better now.

Kind regards,

Eunice
