I have spent many years in and out of hospital, only recently after being admitted once a month for the past 9months have they finally looked into diagnosis me. Despite this the last time I was admitted it was via my Gp, went to assessment ward and after finally seeing a doctor 4 hours later was told I would have to be admitted due to my blood test results showing infection and I needed Iv antibiotics, was in so much pain and normally take strong painkillers daily was only offered paracetamol. Didn't sleep all night as was in so much pain the nurse was good and kept getting me more painkillers and eventually got the doctor to prescribe me stronger painkillers. Come 05:30 in the morning a doctor came to see me and told me that my blood tests results hadn't showed anything and because I had an appointment to be seen the week after by a specialist they were just going to treat me with antibiotics and not send me for a scan like I had previously been told. Come 10am the nurse walked in threw some paracetamol on my bed and said I could go home. After getting home and looking at my discharge letter also given, It was just a reprint of one from 4momths before, with nothing even stating I had been in that time.
