Response from Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Thank you for your comment. The Trust is aware of the difficulties which are experienced due to the demand on our car parks and are sorry that you have had a problem.

To address this we are currently building an extension to the Grafton Street Multi Storey Car Park, the first phase of this providing an additional 300 spaces will open next week on the 8th December 2014 and the second phase should be open in the early summer 2015. In addition we have reallocated approximately 800 staff permits to a park and ride facility to free space for patients and visitors to our site.

Also, if it is appropriate for you we have a number of bus services which come onto our site now – the 147 from Piccadilly and the 18 which comes across city and via Shudehill – and can provide an alternative method of reaching us.
