"I feel the hospital is making out I am a liar"

About: Whiston Hospital

(as the patient),

I have had my operation cancelled, and have suffered financial hardship because of arrangement that were made at work to cover my shifts.

I made enquiries as to why it has been cancelled, and in one of the replies i received back, i am being made out to be a liar and an idiot, because pre-operative staff have written in the notes that they told me the operation was being cancelled - when in fact i was told that it would not go ahead at St Helens, that it may be moved to Whiston.

I was never told at any time during the pre-op session that it was to be cancelled and they are now trying to make it look that i am to blame.

They have already put me under a considerable strain because of the cancellation and now I feel they are trying to make me out to be a liar. That’s one thing in my life that i have never been.

Bad service, bad communication and bad hospital.
