"Overnight stay on Ward 31"

At the beginning of October 2014 I was firstly a patient in the access lounge at University Hospital of North Tees. Unfortunately after my surgey which was planned as a day case I requied an overnight stay as I was not well. I was transfered to ward 31 where I stayed overnight and went home the following day. All the staff who were involved in my care from nurses, porters to domestics provided an excellent standard of care. Nothing was to much trouble. My whole patient journey was excellent from being seen in out patients, pre assessed and then the admission for my operation.
