I am writing on behalf of my husband who is a diabetic.
He was discharged from the specialist in May last year to be followed up by the diabetic nurse at the GP surgery. But he still has not seen the nurse after nearly 12 months, and cannot get a blood test done because they require him to go to the surgery for a fasting blood sugar as the district nurse will not come out to do this. My husband also being a wheelchair bound double amputee.
