"The staff were very reassuring"

About: Whiston Hospital / Rheumatology

(as the patient),

I have nodule osteoarthritis in my hands.

I attended hand classes at Whiston hospital. It was really very informative on how joints are affected, principles of joint protection, pain and awareness. We talked about labour saving gadgets. Then practiced hand exercises, experienced treatments and dietary benefits. Overall it was a positive experience. The staff were very reassuring. If more help was needed, they were there to help and inform.
