I spent one night in ward 34 after a repair operation under general anaesthetic. The staff were caring and helpful. Each shift introduced themselves and explained everything that was to happen. The operation itself was fully explained before it took place and everything was done to put the patient at ease. The staff worked hard to see that everything was spotless.
