A few days ago I called 111 as I was really feeling under the weather and didn’t know what to do. I had been constipated for a few days and although I’d taken some tablets I was still very uneasy.
About 4 years ago I had to call for an ambulance for my then partner and the lady had given me a piece of paper which said if I ever needed medical advice or was not feeling well I should call 111. I’ve had this paper all this time and never used it but as I really was feeling quite down I thought I’d call.
A wonderful young lady answered, after asking about my particular complaint she chatted to me and gave me peace of mind. Perhaps that was all I needed, a short while after that the tablets I’d taken did their trick. I wanted to let you know how well the young lady spoke to me and reassured me. I was really impressed with the service.
