"Not happy with my care at William Harvey"

I went in to hospital recently and was very happy with the care i received whilst in A and E.

Then i got transferred to a ward which was called KINGS B. When i first got there they seemed really good. I saw a consultant (i dont know what his name was). He was very rude to me and just said its your ovaries so we will send you for a scan.

This was at 10.45 friday morning so while i was waiting they kept giving me pain relief which i was very happy with as he said to me that i would have my scan later on that day. Well i waited and waited. It was not until the morning saturday that i actually got it. I had to keep asking them have they arranged one yet. I went for my scan at 8.20 but didn't get seen till 9.40 because they sent me to the wrong place.

So again the consultant saw me about 11.00 and because my dad was there he was being quite polite to me. He said that the other doctor would take a look and would come see me. Well that never happened. I kept asking to see a doctor and all they said that he was on his way.

Finally i found a doctor on the ward and he said to me its not my problem, wait for another doctor, which by this time it was 6 o'clock so i discharged myself.

I'm still in a lot of pain and feel dizzy, but i will never go back. Please help the other patients so they will never recive the kind of care i did.
