I experienced an extremely fast labour (baby arrived 40 minutes after arriving at hospital! ).
After arriving at the hospital the midwives dealt with the situation in a relaxed and friendly manner allowing us to just deliver the baby safely without any panic.
The midwife I originally spoke to on the phone was called Nicki S Campbell and she was there to greet us on arrival. After examination I quickly went into the active pushing stage of labour. As I was still in the triage area, my husband quickly went and got Nicki who along with another midwife moved me into the closest delivery room. The delivery was then complete after a short time and our baby was born safely and well. Thanks to Nicki and her colleague I never felt scared or concerned at the speed the baby was born at and I felt they were in total control of the situation whilst still being as friendly as they were when we first arrived.
Thanks to these midwife, we never had time to be worried or concerned about anything as their professionalism and friendly approach took over and both myself and baby are doing well.
