"Orthodontic team do an amazing job"

As a patient I have been receiving treatment for a severe and complex open bite and I have been well known to the orthodontic team for nearly 4years now. Every visit I have always been kept informed about my progress in great detail by the positive and kind staff. my consultant Mr John Scholey has been fantastic, he has worked extremely hard and spent a lot of time and effort in making a huge improvement on my life. I had a day case operation back in 2011 which closed my bite half way and then 3 weeks ago I went through with double jaw surgery under another wonderful consultant Mr. Pearce under the oral and maxillofacial department. The work they do is incredible and they deserve endless amounts of credit. The positive and caring attitude of ALL the staff has kept me going even at times when I was fed up. All questions were answered and I was constantly seen by my consultant and doctors during my stay in hospital which made me feel very assured and taken care of. The recovery of jaw surgery has been intense but wow what a difference it makes to someone who had such a complex problem. I am still receiving treatment at the moment but I felt the orthodontic and maxfax team needed to see what an amazing job they do.
