"No treatment for five hours"

About: Calderdale Royal Hospital / Maternity care Huddersfield Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I went to a&e huddersfield at 10: 30 pm with a bleed at 24weeks pregnant, after an hour I saw a triage nurse( after seeing 4 drunk people go straight In to see doctors who had clearly been fighting and were not severely injured)

The nurse took a urine sample which never got tested, and said I had to wait for a doctor, 3 hours later a doctor called us in and we then had to wait in another room for over half an hour to tell us they couldn't do anything and we had to go to Calderdale hospital to see an obstetrician,

In the 5 hours we were at huddersfield we had no treatment apart from someone touching my belly & taking my blood pressure, we travelled over to Calderdale which were a million times better & we were seen & cared for & left within an hour of getting there, I cannot praise the Calderdale staff enough.
