"Keep up the good work"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I recently had a hip replacement at Tameside Hospital, after reading the local press I was a little nervous about my visit. Why do the press never see or comment on the good this hospital does from the moment I arrived on the Elective unit the staff were fantastic (a little stressed as short staffed) and unless you have ever needed surgery you wouldnt know that the theatre team existed.

Please could you pass on my appreciation to Gayle & Daniel and the rest of the team in theatre, these nurses were briliant and from the minute I was taken to theatre to the time I was taken back to the ward, Gayle's professionalism and Daniel's smile and warm nature made me glad to have had my surgery Tameside Hospital. Keep up the good work

‘’Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed.
