"Lots of cameras"

About: St James's University Hospital

I was sent to the hospital because of some problems with my digestion and had a both an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. I thought the information sent out was very thorough and then got a chance to talk to both a nurse and a consultant before having my procedures. I also like the way you can have some summary information immediately after rather than having to wait until the outpatient appointment, it took a lot of the worry away. Staff were busy but it looked like the department worked well. There were a lot of people waiting for 2-3 hours for their relative or friend to be ready to go home as you need an adult to go home with. As I am of working age I asked and was able to arrange my husband to collect me which allowed him to work that day, maybe that information could be available in the information that is sent out?
