"Care - so impressed - thank you"

(as the patient),

I srarted with an xray having been referred by hospital in Elgin. I broke my right arm just above the wrist and it was not mending properly. I was referred by Orthopaedic

Outpatients to the Hand Clinic where, on the same day as this referral, I was operated on to insert a plate to stabilise the bones. I have been so impressed with everyone with whom I have come into contact. Mr Lindau and all the Wrist Clinic staff have been immensely thorough in ensuring I get the very best treatment. I am so very grateful for this and wish to relay my thanks.

Royal Derby aspires to the very best that the NHS has to offer from administration, clinical, medical, nursing and general organisation. If only the parking difficulties could be resolved perfection would be achieved.

Thank you very much for providing us with your feedback. I will ensure your kind words are shared with the relevant staff.

I must also sincerely apologise about the difficulties with car parking - we are aware that there are peak times at which patients and visitors struggle to find spaces. We adjusted ward visiting times and now offer cheaper car parking fees after 5pm to encourage people to come at varying times, but we acknowledge there is still more we may be able to do to improve car parking.
