(as a relative),

My son had a thorn lodged in his eye. We went to the drop in centre. There was a few people ahead of us, but we were taken through to see a nurse within 5 minutes. She removed the thorn and checked his eye thoroughly. Then gave us anti-biotic cream for the eye - we didn't even have to find a chemist to get the prescription.

Thank goodness for this service - as I am sure we would have been in A&E for hours otherwise.

This is the second time I have used this service and both times I have been very pleased with the service offered.
