After falling on ice and snow while on the moors in December 2008 i was unfortunate enough to fracture my wrist - a Colles fracture.
i was seen straight away on arrival in a+e and given pain relief then went to x-ray. i then had my wrist manipulated and potted. the following day i was seen in fracture clinic where i also received brilliant care and the choice of colour of plaster with glitter!
once i had my plaster removed i was refered for physio which has enabled me to regain full range of movement in my wrist. at all times during my treatment i was treated with the utmost respect and was kept fully informed of what was happening with my care.
