"The most comprehensive consultancy I've ever had"

(as the patient),

I recently visited a dermatology consultant at Ayr Hospital.

The consultancy was very good – in fact it was the most comprehensive I’ve ever had at a NHS service.

The consultant actually attempted to resolve the issue, rather than just manage it. I’ve been going all of my life, and most of the time it’s always treatment, treatment, treatment, but this consultant wanted to get to the bottom of the problem.

It is great to hear that you had this comprehensive consultation and you feel the consultant did want to get to the bottom of the problem. I so hope that was the outcome and you are on your way to your condition being resolved. The double edged sword here though is that you have not felt that before and for that, I am sorry.
