"Wonderful experience with birth of grandson"

Our grandson was born in the Autumn and what a truly wonderful experience. The midwives Janet and Carolyn were kind, caring and totally professional and we felt complete confidence in their expertise.

I have been to three other maternity hospitals, one which is now closed, one in central and one south Manchester when grandchildren were born, but the care at Tameside was far superior. It was the calm atmosphere which impressed me the most, which was a complete contrast to the other hospitals which felt frenetic at times.

All the staff, the midwives and the lovely polite young woman who made us tea and toast, were absolutely wonderful. This was a first baby and it was a truly holistic experience. Thank you all xxx
