"Great staff and a really good unit"

I don't have anything to compare it to, but we have just gotten home with our first and I felt compelled to put a review up. The labour was a long process, that was at times very fraught. Only being an onlooker it was probably worse for me than it was for mum, but the staff were incredible. They were with us every step of the way and kept us informed, explained their decisions and the birth plan at every step. After the birth we had time to relax and get our heads round everything before we got moved up to the ward. The staff on the ward were just as good as the ones involved in the delivery. Knowledgable, professional, interested and helpful. Really clean, spacious rooms with new equipment and everything you need. Big thanks to all at Chesterfield Birth Centre, couldn't have done it without you all.
