"I now have control of my life back"

About: Inclusion Matters Sefton

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I cannot thank my therapist enough for helping me achieve the amount of progress that I have made. From a time when I could not leave the house on my own to where I am now was unthinkable. I owe so much to his patient, listening skills, ability and professionalism to help equip me with the skills I needed to break out of my depression and anxiety cycle, to achieve all my key milestones and feel like I now have control of my life back.

There is still work that I need to do to progress further but I feel confident that I have the tools I need to help me.

Abdul has such a calming manner, he made me feel comfortable talking about situations that I found distressing. He was extremely skilled in keeping me on track and focused on what I needed to achieve even when I was finding it difficult.

I cannot thank him enough!
