"Choose and book system gave me no choice"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

I went to the GP in early January with an ENT problem. An appointment was made for me at the ENT department at DRI but the date offered was when I was due to be on holiday. It took long to try and re-book but no other appointments were available. I was advised to call back in two weeks.

I called the NHS line again but no appointments again and I was told I would receive a letter with a new appointment. No letter arrived so I called the NHS line again and was told to ring my GP!

It is now three months later and I still have no appointment. What a joke! How does the “choose and book” system give me a choice or allow me to book?
