"Brilliant respiratory clinical nurse specialist team"

About: Heartlands Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as the patient),

The 3 CNS (Bronchiectatsis and COPD) nurses based predominantly on ward 24 have supported me now for a good few years, enabling me to continue to work and live life by teaching me to do my own IV antibiotic treatment.

They are very friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much of a hassle for them no matter how busy they are. They have helped me many a time when I have been quite unwell and helped me get sorted very quickly.

I just wanted to say a big thank you and ensure they get the recognition they deserve

Thanks for giving this feedback and I am delighted to hear that the three CNSs are providing such excellent care to you and enabling you to manage your life better by staying out of hospital. It is always so motivating for staff to hear such feedback, so I will make sure they see your message.

Thanks

Matthew
