"Visiting the orthopaedic nurse "

About: University Hospital Ayr / Trauma & orthopaedics University Hospital Ayr / X-rays and Scans

(as the patient),

I went to visit the Orthopaedic Nurse at Ayr Hospital and everything was class. My only minor complaint is that some the staff voices are louder than necessary. In X Ray, Claire Ireland was absolutely brilliant.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Paris450,

I have sent this to the service manager and Claire herself. I am quite sure she will be very pleased with your lovely feedback; it really does make a difference. All feedback is very much appreciated and I am sure the manager will mention the ‘loud voice’s to the team as well.

I hope you are well after your hospital visit. Thank you very much for sharing this with us.

Kind regards,

Eunice

Dear Paris450,

Claire asked me to thank you for your kind words. I was wondering if you can clarify whether the loud voices were in the clinic where Claire saw you, or in X-ray. The Manager in x-ray will mention this at her team meeting but we think it is possible that this was in the clinc.

Thank you again for your post,

Kind regards,

Eunice
