The old ward Snowdon at Arnold Lodge has closed and patients have moved onto the new Thorton ward; the feedack has been very postive and patients are happy for these comments to be shared.
One of the patients said the new ward is very smart, more spacious and very happy with the bedroom layout.
Another patient commented saying the new Thornton ward is very cushy, nice and spacious, more chilled out, decor very nice, more rooms available for privacy or to have one to ones, bedroom layout well thought out and overall alot better environment.
It was said that the new ward is very clean neat and tidy and they would be trying to keep it this way, he also said that it was much better than the old ward, furniture is very nice, seating area is nice and spacious, like that there is 2 large TV's on the ward and allows access for both to be used at the same time, also like that there are more paients on the ward allowing more people to socialise with.
Another patient said it just nice and brand new.
The majority of those asked said they were very happy with the new ward, its decor, the amount of space it has and that the bedroom have a very good layout, also the quite rooms seemed larger and they were happy that there were more of them to use, either to just relax, chill out or watch a bit of tv on your own.
Overall the feedback has been very postive.
