"2 week stay on Ward 20"

I recently had a major operation on ward 20 from 24th Sept to 8th Oct. the stay was longer than expected as there was a complication from the first operation so I had to return to theatre. The care I received throughout was excellent. Despite being a very busy environment the staff were endlessly patient, kind and full of practical advice. I ended up having far more extensive surgery than expected and the nurses empathetic approach gave me the strength to cope with it all.
