"Fire alarm in A block"

About: Hammersmith Hospital

I wonder whether an unexpected visit from Matron came as a result of my call to the CEO's office first thing this morning to ask about the fire alarm situation. Little bit retroactive frankly having spent another sleepless night with no apology or explanation but thanks for the gesture.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust sincerely apologises for the distress caused to you and all our patients due to a faulty fire alarm. A report has been sent to the Trust's Fire Officer and the problem, once identified, was rectified by the contractor.
