"Thorough, considerate and personable"

My son had been referred following concerns I had about bed wetting. Nothing serious, I know, and I had felt a little fussy, but a mother's instinct and all that! Contrary to my opinion, the doctor was wonderful! He diagnosed an underlying problem my son has had from very young (one I thought had cleared up). His manner was superb and he explained everything to me in detail, not once did I feel ridiculous for being there! My son found him hilarious and has heeded every word and is following all doctor's orders. We did have a long delay (1hour), but there was a student doctor with him and I could hear how thoroughly he was being trained (can only be a positive surely?) The sister and other staff were apologetic but there really was no need to be-I'd rather no patient was rushed and juniors were trained properly. Plus, the waiting area was so entertaining for children, my two were reluctant to leave! Another reassuring, professional experience at BVH-we are so lucky.
