"My Second Admission to Coronary Care"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

In April 2011 I was unfortunate to experience pain and discomfort and was admitted to Sunderland Royal. Doctors diagnoses finally necessitated a triple bypass at James Cook hospital. In September of this year further chest pain necessitated a stent placed into a graft during Angioplasty at Sunderland. On both occasions the standard of patient care has been overwhelming in terms of consideration, respect and dignity. Staff from all specialisms have a wonderful approach and have time for everyone even though their workload is at times so strained. I have nothing but praise for the department and all of its work and expertise.
