"Young gymnast visit to A&E"

My wife and I cannot praise the staff in Frimley Park Children's A&E enough! Our 12 year old daughter was admitted with a badly broken wrist from a gymnastics accident. She was obviously in pain and shocked. In fact the injury necessitated emergency surgery - carried out within a couple of hours - to insert pins and wires to stabilise the damaged joint. All the staff, from reception to all the wonderful nursing and theatre staff, including the specialist surgeon, treated our daughter brilliantly. They did everything to reassure and relax her throughout her time there. Mum stayed overnight and could not have been made more welcome. Since then we have been back for follow on out patient treatment and had the same experience throughout. I don't know how to thank everyone at Frimley enough.
