"admission to STUR"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

I was admitted to the STUR ward at Royal Blackburn hospital on friday the 31st October and Discharged 2nd November. My consultant was fantastic, he was very caring and understanding regarding how much pain i was in and how distressed as my problem has been going on for months without a diagnoisis and finally he is putting the wheels in motion to get me the treatment i need. His care was second to none and if all consultants was like him there would never been any complaints.

Dear Coral Many thanks for your comments about your care on the Surgical Triage Unit at Royal Blackburn and many thanks for taking the time to do so. I will make sure your comments are passed onto the team and the consultant in particular. I do know that we've emailed each other before after comments you've posted about our other services, so I really hope we're on the way to sorting this out for you. I know I asked you last time about getting in touch and you emailed me, but if you want to let me know how you get on in the coming months I'd like that so that I can understand if we're still doing a great job for you. You can either contact me (Wendy Stobbs) on 01254 734471/ 01254 733704 or email me on wendy.stobbs@elht.nhs.uk. thanks again and best wishes Wendy Stobbs, Patient Experience Facilitator
