"Referral to gynaecologist. ... what's the point."

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital

Having been referred to a gynaecologist at Macclesfield urgently I was given a 2 wk time limit. A week in with no appointment I chased and chased to be told outpatients had not faxed the info to the consultant secretary and so they would try to see me within 2 weeks... i politely reminded them I was in pain, and already a week in. I was called for an MRI scan and an outpatients app with the consultant. I attended the consultation with the Dr who tried to tell me I needed an MRI scan... i informed him I'd had one whereby he located the results. A 5 minute maximum look at the results told him I had no issues and that I either have kids or don't and that I need to see my GP. My GP doesn't know what to do... am in horrific pain and symptoms which affect me going to work and daily routine. No one will help as the consultant has discharged me without so much as an examination. ... i am now left hanging 2 weeks on with horrific symptoms and no answers.
