"Frustration at lack of parking"

I had an appointment at kingsmill hospital mansfield on wed 22nd April at 2.15pm. I gave myself plenty of time to arrive and park. After driving round for over an hour and missing my appointment time, I drove home totally upset and stressed. Not only was this a wasted afternoon off work, and no result to my ailment, I now have to go through it all again when I receive another referal. The hospital may look nice and be more efficient inside (not that I got to see inside), but parking doesn't seem to have come into the equation when plans were drawn up to extend and better the hospital. It was a hot day and people were getting frustated at driving round and round looking for parking spaces, some just abandoned their cars, possibly receiving parking tickets in to the bargain. We come to hospital to get treatment for our ailments not go home feeling totally dissatisfied and let down. It is not always possible to get public transport if we have to get back to work after our appointments, nor can we always get a lift. I feel really frustrated that even when I get my referal, the same thing could happen and I may never get to make my appointment
