"My treatment could not have been bettered"

I required a total replacement left knee. A year previously, I required a right hip replacement which took place at the above hospital.

My treatment, from pre-admission through to the actual surgery, could not have been bettered. I was well satisfied with the attention I was given by all members of staff I had the privilege of meeting.

Ward 3A covered my post-surgery care and the staff, both day and night, were really outstanding. I was so impressed that, when it was decided my left knee needed replacement, I specifically requested my treatment would take place at The Pilgrim and under the care of Ward 3A.

I'm so very pleased that my wishes were agreed to. The staff of Ward 3A were, once again, outstanding.

My grateful thanks to the highly skilled surgical teams, the surgeons, and all the staff members of those departments dealing with me during my time of need.
