"Warm and welcoming nurses"

About: The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I have experienced a short stay on Chavasse ward recently. I felt apprehensive before I arrived but my fears were alleviated immediately by the warm welcoming nurses. They put my mind at ease straight away. The night nurses were the most caring people I have ever met. One nurse in particular. She spent time with me listening to my fears about theatre the next morning and really helped me cope as I had never had an operation before. With her help I managed to get some well needed sleep!

The only thing I will say, please don't take this as a criticism, is that the nurse call bells were very loud especially at night..but they were answered promptly. Thank you

Thank you for taking time to leave your feedback. Coming into hospital to have an operation is never an easy thing to do. We are pleased our nursing staff were able to help and put your mind at ease.
