About: Tameside General Hospital / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

We went in early November for an appointment with our daughter at Children's Outpatient department. Within a couple of minutes of arriving she was called through to be weighed and measured. Within 5 minutes of that being done we were seen by the doctor. In all our time at the department was 20 minutes. Everyone we saw were friendly and professional. We could not have asked for better service.

Many thanks for you kind words. The children’s outpatient area can be a busy department on most days and we try to ensure that all parents are aware of any potential delays and ensure the children have lots of toys / craft equipment to keep them occupied should there be a delay in the running of clinic.

Its great to see that your experience was such that everything was done quickly, professionally and prompted you to give us such lovely feedback.

I shall ensure that the staff in the dept are made aware of your experience and I hope your daughter is feeling better.
