"A&E visit"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

I attended A&E with my daughter who is at university in Winchester on Saturday 1st November. She had seen her GP the day before and had a bad kidney infection. She was feeling very ill and we were advised to attend A&E. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful and the Triage nurse very helpful and efficient. My daughter was then seen by a consultant who could not have been more thorough and kind. I felt she received first class treatment and is now recovering well at home. I would have no hesitation in receiving treatment at Winchester Hospital . Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on NHS Choices. It is always lovely to hear encouraging feedback from patients on the quality of care and treatment they have received. I will ensure that your kind words are received by the Emergency Department team, who I’m sure, will greatly appreciate them. Mary Edwards, Chief Executive Email: mary.edwards@hhft.nhs.uk
