"Don't read into all the negatitity"

I was impressed with the A&e at southmead . Yes you have to wait and yes they are busy but generally the staff are caring and the doctor I saw equally so. The biggest criticism is staff discussing patients after triage and whilst you are waiting. This is unfair to those who are waiting as there is a big case of breaking client confidentiality. Paramedics in and out are equally guilty. The area sorting patients who are waiting should be much further removed from the staff on the reception area. It's horrible listening to such discussions. Otherwise all do their best to be polite and informative. It's just sad everything is slow but that's funding not the staff or the hospital. Initial entry receptionists could be a little more caring as can come across as fed up and bored. Bit more training would be good
