"Such a contrast"

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

My wife had a fall. I called the ambulance. An hour and a half later it hadn't arrived, by now it was midnight, so cancelled ambulance and took her to the Urgent Care Centre at Brants Bridge, Bracknell next morning - absolutely useless. After more than an hour of waiting, we were told they couldn't help as it looked like a hip problem and they can't x- ray hips - "go to A & E". What a shower so far! Chose to go to Frimley rather than Wexham (no need to say why!). Hey presto! Such good care, from the A & E receptionist (who went to find a wheelchair for me, brought it to the car outside, helped my wife out of the car into the chair and wheeled it into the hospital) to all the staff in A & E and on F5 Blue Team. Co-ordination on discharge could be improved, otherwise absolutely tip-top all round. Note too, an email to the CE was replied to and acted on, by him personally, within an hour of me sending it after wife was home.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. It is a shame that your initial experience was such a difficult one but we are pleased that your impression of Frimley Park was a very good one.
