My stay at the Hallamshire Hospital was directed by efficient, professional staff. The ENT was clean and the food adequate. One problem I had was the issue of privacy. My pre-op discussion with the surgeon was to be conducted with him standing some distance away from me. I requested him to stop and pull the curtain, which he did. You feel very exposed on a ward and do not want your details shared with other patients.
