My wife's stay in Woodlands as an NHS Patient can only be described as excellent. What I particularly want to comment on was a visit to the outpatient Dept almost 2 weeks after her surgery. She was in a lot of pain and no regular medication was touching it. With a fear she had an infection , following a telephone call for advice, she was asked to attend the Outpatients Dept, this was all done within 30 mins of the phone call that was made at 1630. She was seen by a doctor, and 2 very helpful staff, a Nurse and a receptionist who could not of been more helpful. The upshot was that her staples were removed,(she was due to have them out the following day ) a new dressing applied and a fax sent to our GP to prescribe some medication to help with the pain. We picked up the drugs at 1725. Phenomenal service, thank you Woodlands, thank you to the nurse and the receptionist who was so helpful. Brilliant performance, my wife slept last night for the first time in 2 weeks. What a result!
