"Holme Valley Hospital Bunion Operation"

About: Holme Valley Memorial Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

I went into Holme Valley Hospital on the 30th September for a bunion operation. At 33 I was not overly scared or worried about the surgery and I knew I was heading to my parents to recover.

All I can say is that the care provided at this hospital by every single member of the team has been world class. I have never dealt with such a caring, kind, warm group of doctors and nurses in my life. They have made every part of the process an absolute breeze and been there at the end of the phone too when I've needed them. They are a true credit to the NHS service and need to be recognised for the fantastic work they are doing. I'm extremely grateful for everything they have done for me over the past month.
