"Sent to the wrong department"

About: Countess Of Chester Hospital

I was referred to A&E by my GP due to back pain and numbness in my right leg.The streaming nurse took my details and read the referral letter.I then waited 3 hours to see somebody.I was actually shown to another GP who told me he wasnt who I should have been seeing, and that I should have been sent to another area.He was very apologetic and directed me to the correct department where I waited another hour to be seen. The doctor who saw me was very good, and told me I needed an urgent MRI scan and I would hear from them in 2 days I am currently writing this,2 days later, whilst on the phone to A&E only to be told that no MRI scan has been booked and I need to speak to my own GP to sort it out. They dont know anything about my situation All in all,my faith in the NHS has taken a rather large knock and certainly wouldnt recommend anyone to take a trip to this A&E department
